Management Analysis

What drives your purchasing and inventory? Many companies use a “squeaky wheel” approach, in which operational problems are addressed as they arise.

BAIS analyzes your component and system requirements, maps your current inventory and purchasing processes and works with you to design more efficient strategies for managing your MRO inventories. Further, we apply our technical strength and supplier relationships to a detailed item analysis and evaluation, creating efficiencies that reach beyond a simple per-piece savings on tooling or supplies.

Full Service

Many clients choose to have BAIS manage their MRO inventories. This alleviates supply problems caused by seasonal shifts in production demand and the logistics involved in hiring and training inventory personnel. From our door to yours, you get the benefit of decades of production supply experience, backed up with parts and supplies chosen to maximize savings and performance.

Let BAIS streamline your inventory management, eliminating redundancies in quoting, requisition, purchasing, invoicing, and engineering.

  • Electronic data interchange
  • Bar coding

Immediate Response

Your business is dynamic, with needs and demands changing daily. Sometimes, even the best planning falls short and you need items right now. BAIS is your local, full-stock supplier! We work with customers on the spot when waiting another day is not an option.

Cribs

For the ultimate in convenience, let BAIS install one of our secure CribMaster Accu-Ports on-site at your facility.  RFID chips provide convenient, instant access to the supplies your employees need, while you retain full control over inventory and usage. Cribs help you precisely track supply usage to spot trends, problems, over-usage and under-usage for better decision-making, quality, employee accountability and cost control.

Here’s how it works:

Your employees walk up to a caged area containing any indirect item used to keep your facility going.  As they enter the doorway, their name badge is read.  Their name sounds audibly, the door is unlocked (assuming they have permission to enter the crib) and they retrieve their items.  The employee gathers all the items needed as they press the exit button to unlock the door and walk back through the Accu-Port, which records the transaction for each item as they walk away.
